The problem did get fixed in the end, but it took longer than I expected. The frustrating part was that a couple of the replies made me feel a bit talked down to, like I didn’t understand the issue. Glad it’s resolved, but the experience could’ve been better.

We had a good day out on the boat overall. The boat was in decent shape and ran well, and everyone had a nice time. My only real issue was that the fuel costs and extra fees weren’t super clear before we booked. It wasn’t a crazy surprise or anything, but it felt a little confusing until the end. The staff was okay too. I’d probably rent again, but next time I’d definitely ask more questions upfront.

I want to be fair, because we still made the best of the day, but the boat we got really didn’t feel like it had been cleaned properly before us. The seats looked dirty, the floor was sticky, and overall it just felt a bit neglected.
Some parts of the boat also seemed worn out, which was disappointing considering I expected a clean, decent boat for the price. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the boat to be in better shape before handing it over to customers.

We didn’t feel super welcome there with our kids. The staff seemed kind of annoyed anytime we asked basic stuff, which made things awkward fast. It just felt like the place is more set up for adults going out without kids, not really for a family day. Maybe other people would be fine with it, but for us it was stressfull and just not worth it tbh.

We rented from Paradise Boat Rentals and the location was super easy for us. We didn’t have to drive all over the place, parking wasn’t a headache, and the dock was easy to find, which was nice since we were already running a little late. The safety briefing felt really rushed, and it left me a bit confused. The website made it sound like everything would be clearly explained before we took the boat out, but in person it felt like they skimmed over a lot. I had to ask a couple of basic questions more than once, and I still didn’t feel totally confident when we left. Not the best way to start the day.

Picking up the car was super easy and didn’t take much time at all. Returning it was a bit slower because the line moved kind of slowly. For some reason I remember there was a tiny rubber duck sitting on the counter while I waited, which made the wait feel a little less annoying.

Overall, the gear selection was solid and most of what I needed was available. The only issue was that one tube size was missing, so just a heads-up to double-check they have the exact size you need before you count on it.

I booked through paradiseboatrentals.net and everything went smoothly. The boat was ready exactly when they said it would be, which I appreciated. Check-in was quick too, just had to wait a little bit for the instructions before heading out... but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.
